- They are different from other leopards by their thick spotted coat of fur
- In the summer their coat is a bright gold with extravagant details, and about twenty millimeters long
- In the winter their coat gets pale and long, about 50 millimeters and very dense
- The leopards are about fifty inches long, with a thirty inch tail, and about thirty inches to the shoulder tall
- Males weigh between seventy and one-hundred ten pounds
- Females weigh fifty five to ninety four pounds
The Amur Leopard is the only leopard that is adapted to a cold snowy climate.
